- Recently leaked reports about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 indicate that it will use both Exynos and Snapdragon processors.
- Which processor you get to see in action depends on the model you bought and your region.
- The Samsung Galaxy S24 will use Exynos processors, while the Galaxy S24 Plus and the S24 Ultra will use Snapdragon processors.
If you are highly anticipated to get your hands on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphone, then you have to decide carefully which model you want. This is because recent reports indicate that depending on the model you bought and the region you live in – the processor in your phone might be different.
That’s right – the Samsung Galaxy S24 comes equipped with two different processors. While the standard Samsung Galaxy S24 will use the Exynos 2400 processor, the S24 Plus and the S24 Ultra models will be using Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Which processor you get on your Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus depends on which region you live in. This is because the American and European markets are expected to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors on their Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus model. On the other hand, the Asian markets are expected to get the Exynos 2400 variant instead.
While the true reason why Samsung is doing this is still unknown, this isn’t the first time they are doing so. The Korena giants have done this before, with 2021’s Samsung Galaxy S22 models, which featured both the Exynos 2200 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors.
However, they skipped doing the same with the Samsung Galaxy S23 models, which completely embraced Snapdragon processors. This is because the Exynos 2300 processor had lots of stability and performance issues.
