The New Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer Came A Day Early – Confirming A 2025 Release Date

GTA fans, rejoice! Your prayers for a GTA 6 trailer have finally been answered! Rockstar suddenly surprise-dropped the new Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer last night, which looks very promising. However, it was initially supposed to come out a day later.

It has been a decade since Grand Theft Auto 5 came out with a massive bang. It became one of the highest-selling games of all time and one of the best games of all time.

However, this has been true for almost all mainline GTA entries. From the real-time rendered 3D open world of GTA 3 to the more personal and stylized stories of GTA: San Andreas and Vice City to the realism of GTA 4 and the money heists of GTA 5 – they have all revolutionized open-world gaming forever.

Therefore, the expectations of a new GTA 6 is sky high. However, the new trailer shows us why we might not be disappointed.

Grand Theft Auto 6 will take players back to a modern-day Vice City. For the uninitiated, it’s a fictionalized version of Miami, USA. Here, you will play two different protagonists – Jason and Luca – who are inspired by Bonnie and Clyde.

The development of this game started back in 2016. However, a 2022 asset leak by a 16-year-old British hacker slightly reduced its momentum. Now, the new GTA 6 trailer confirms a 2025 release date.
