Google is ready to start introducing various AI upgrades to the Google Chrome browser. Various new generative AI features in Google Chrome will soon begin making their way, similar to the use of AI in Google Maps. Moreover, they have also announced the first Google Chrome AI feature – Personalized Themes.
Back in May this year, Google Chrome received a similar update sans the inclusion of AI. In May, we saw the introduction of the Customize Chrome tool, which allows you to customize your Chrome’s look through various options.
However, since this update will feature the use of generative AI, the option to personalize your Chrome theme will be a lot more this time. This new feature will be known as Create Theme with AI.
There are an overwhelming number of options available for creating AI themes in Chrome, here I show some of them:

This new feature will allow you to select from 12 different categories regarding the style of theme you want. Some of the categories here include space like the sun, the Great Wall of China, famous US cities, seven wonders of the world, and more.
After selecting a category, you can choose from various art styles you want your theme to mimic. This includes art styles such as 3D animation and oil painting.

However, that’s not all! You can then fine-tune the theme you want by selecting a Mood. For example, you can select moods like romantic or even go to extremes like depressing and violent. Moreover, you can also add a hue from a palette of colors to describe the overall look of the theme.
For now, this new Google Chrome AI themes feature is limited only to Google Canary – the experimental Google Chrome for devs. Let’s see how it turns out when it launches next year.
